Licensed School Psychologist | Pediatric Traumatic Brain Injury Consultant

I am a licensed school psychologist with nearly 30 years of experience supporting children and families within educational systems. My PhD studies, research, and dissertation focused on optimizing outcomes for children and youth with brain injury, with particular attention to early childhood and the long-term impact brain injury can have on learning, behavior, and development.

Families are often left navigating school systems with little guidance after a child’s brain injury. Schools may want to help but may not fully understand how traumatic brain injury can affect a child over time. My work bridges this gap by translating medical information into practical, school-based recommendations that families and educational teams can understand and implement.

I work closely with families of children returning to childcare and school after traumatic brain injury, helping them understand what to expect, what supports may be helpful, and how to plan for both immediate and long-term needs. My approach is collaborative, individualized, and grounded in both research and real-world experience in schools.

I provide consultation services virtually and in person and collaborate with families, schools, and medical providers to support children’s successful return to learning and daily routines.
